The 3L Class Gift Campaign is an opportunity for third year law students to make a 4-year pledge to the University of South Carolina School of Law Carolina Fund. The campaign runs from March 16th until May 1st.
The School of Law Carolina Fund supports future students so that they may have the same opportunities and benefits you received while at USC School of Law. Specifically, this fund supports student scholarships, but it also provides support for various student activities throughout the year. It is the annual fund that alumni are asked to support.
The focus of the 3L Campaign is on the percentage of participants and not on actual dollars raised. This is important because it is considered a measure of student strength when compared to our peer schools. Also, when alumni consider giving to the law school, it tremendously helps to be able to report that 100% of the 3L Class is financially supportive indicating a strong belief in the future of our School of Law.
Alumni participation has helped us establish the reputation that we have today as a top law school. When you make a gift, you become part of our heritage of giving and help us stay strong — something that benefits you and the value of your degree.
Investing in your degree will support —
By committing to a 4-year pledge you will not make your gift(s) until Fiscal Year 2018 (July 1, 2017–June 30, 2018). Your commitment allows you to make a gift that will provide substantial support to the School of Law and its programs. It allows you to honor the institution that has provided you with the opportunity to start your career in law. For your convenience, you may set your gift up to automatically withdraw per your specifications.
