Over 300 friends, alumni and ABA members and officials gathered together on August 8, 2008, in New York, to honor William C. Hubbard, Chair-Elect Nominee of the ABA House of Delegates.

"I am pleased and humbled that the House of Delegates has entrusted me to lead the policy-making body of the ABA," Hubbard said, when asked about his nomination.

The American Bar Association is the largest voluntary professional membership organization in the world. As the national voice of the legal profession, the ABA works to improve the administration of justice, promotes programs that assist lawyers and judges in their work, accredits law schools, provides continuing legal education, and works to build public understanding around the world of the importance of the rule of law.
