Ms. Visser joined the school of law as Associate Director of Career Services in January 2012. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and relocated to South Carolina, where she earned her Master of Arts degree from USC in 1988. Shortly thereafter, she was hired by a nationally renowned company specializing in the planning and designing of justice system facilities. Following her work at that firm, she went to work for the South Carolina Judicial Department, and then the South Carolina Bar, where she worked closely with judges and attorneys to develop and deliver training programs for members of the judiciary and the bar. In 1998, Ms. Visser was hired by the National District Attorneys Association to work at the newly opened National Advocacy Center. She was the Director of Curriculum Administration until 2011.
