Henry Green Heriot, 87, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2008.

Walter Warren Brooks died Wednesday September 17, 2008 at the age of 70. He practiced law in Columbia until his retirement in 1997.

1991

Charles Craig Young, 42, of Florence died Friday, November 14, 2008, at his residence after an illness. He was a former partner in the Wilcox Law Firm and was a partner in the Young, Miller and Braddock Law Firm in Florence. He was a member of the Florence West Rotary Club, the Florence County Bar, the South Carolina Bar Association, the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, the Defense Trial Association and a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Jeanne deSaussure Smith, 22, of Charleston, a student at the University of South Carolina School of Law, died Friday November 14 in Columbia. Miss Smith was born September 23, 1986, in Charleston, a daughter of Margaret Rinehart Smith and Park B. Smith Jr. She was a graduate of Charleston Day School, Porter-Gaud School and Washington and Lee University, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.
