Active in community affairs including the Board of the S.C. Appleseed Center for Legal Justice, Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity including serving on the Board of Directors, President 1986-1990, Chair of the Committee on Planning, Architecture and Construction of the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina, and Committee on Race Relations of the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina, 2002 to present.
