Services to the Legal Community
Attorneys Room
Room 106 at the south end of the first floor of the Law Library has been set aside for the use of members of the South Carolina Bar. Subject to prior reservation by the School of Law and the Law Library, the Attorneys Room is available to any member of the bar.
Public Access Computers and Wireless Network
There are public access computers on the first floor of the Law Library. Many of the electronic sources that the library subscribes to are accessible through these computers. However, there are no printers attached to these computers. The Law Library is not a WiFi hotspot; computers and other wireless devices brought into the Law Library will not be able to connect to the wireless network.
Photocopying
Photocopy machines are located on the 1st floor of the Law Library. A coin-operated copier is available in Room 104, next to the Circulation Desk. The copier takes coins, and 1 and 5 dollar bills. The Law Library does not provide change.
Document Delivery
A document delivery service to members of the South Carolina Bar, the judiciary, and state government. The cost is $.50 per page for mailed or picked-up items, plus a $5.00 handling fee. If copies are paid for when they are picked up there is no handling fee. For faxed items, the cost is $1.00 per page plus a $5.00 handling fee. If a PDF version of a journal article is available, the article can be emailed with a cost of a $5.00 handling fee. The invoices for services will be mailed to the requesting party. You may fax requests, with full citation information, on office letterhead to 803-777-9405. Use the Document Delivery Request form online (PDF).

Reference
The Reference Desk is located on the first floor across from the Circulation Desk. Reference service is available Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM until 7:00 PM, and Fridays from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM, during the academic year. Parking
There is limited metered parking near the Law Center.
