Heather Jarvis from Equal Justice Works held court for over an hour. With humor and clarity she explained the options available to students who want to lower their student debt. She used realistic examples to outline the parameters of the College Cost Reduction Act (CCRA) and the provisions that apply to loan forgiveness for public service. The audience of over 100 students had plenty of questions and left with a greater appreciation of the options available to them. Ms. Jarvis urged everyone to spread the word about income based repayment.
