Evelyn Mitchell receives 2010 Susan McCrary Volunteer of the Year Award

Evelyn Mitchell, WIL Vice-President is the recipient of the 2010 Susan McCrary Volunteer of the Year Award. She is joined by Gertie Merrill, Susan's mother.

This Award is presented to a member of WIL who has been not only supportive and actively engaged in WIL projects but also exhibits the personal characteristics of Susan McCrary.

Susan was a member of the Class of 2000, who was killed in an automobile accident during her second year of law school. She pushed others to do their best, unselfishly gave of her time and energy and tirelessly worked to help others through volunteer activities. Susan was also a Pro Bono Board member.
